May 29th Update – Playoff results

The results are in!

The full list is below, and as most of you can already see, the winner is…Rachel! Leanna takes second place and Maddison third.

An interesting experiment with a few nice surprises. Maddison didn’t win as an obvious one, but I did suspect something like this might happen. She has her fanbase, but she also has a notable amount of players who really don’t like her. Rachel as the winner makes more sense. Her fanbase isn’t as loud, but it’s there and everyone seem to like her to some degree.

Other interesting results include Mia and Katie doing surprisingly well. Molly doing more ‘average’ than I would have thought. Violet beasts April in the Bynes family+ group.

  1. Hey now. Kelly with a respectable showing! Not bad for my all-time favorite Chaotic character.

    Glad Mia did well. I “reacquainted” myself with her by replaying Photographer 3 the other day.

    Terribly disappointed in people for rating Cassandra so low… as well as Molly.

    1. Do something with the top 3! Would love to see Rachel and Maddison together again and add some Leanna that might be a top top game!

      1. All 3 could be an option, though just to clarify, it’s unlikely to be a game that I make.

        I’m thinking something along the lines of the ‘Christmas with Violet’ stories I’ve done, but without the theme.

        1. I have a couple of video game ideas. Pool Party Part 2 (with returning characters), Holly & Maria, Maddison Part 2 (also returning characters).

  3. Interesting how someone like Debbie, who has just a minor role in a game, has more votes than girls with their own games.
    Well, I hope that this poll did give you some idea on your “crowd” preferences, can’t wait to see what you’ll do with Rachel!

    1. Yeah, I’m guessing there was a typo in the first post which I then copied over to the other 3. It’s apparently just 46. 🙂

    1. I dont think people have been told what the next free game is called but If I remember correctly people were told that a new free game is coming soon

    1. To be honest, I’m not sure. Jennifer was an experiment from quite a few years ago now. I’m not even sure how compatible the game is with the newest browser versions.

      My best advice is to try another mobile browser. I just tried my chrome app for android and it works with that.

  10. if i would recommend a next free game it would be one of the older games like Nerena , Sci-Fi Mission , Tammy or Virtual Sci-fi Girls(any of them are about time) .

    Is there any news from dsp3000?

    I know its been asked above and you must be tired of seeing it. But frankly I don’t want to harass anyone just want an idea if he’s doing well or not given everything thats been going on. He mentioned something in March about keeping in touch with you about progress.

    Big fan of your work here, been following you off and on for far longer than I should admit. I have found myself recently unemployed (an IT guy who made Work from home possible at his company had his position laid off during the pandemic, what an ass-thing for a greedy company to do) and have more time. I was wondering, when you are developing games, one of your comments has been how time consuming it is. I know the rendering part is extremely time consuming, but aside from that, what are the major slowdowns and would extra hands help?
    I’ve considered trying to create games like these, I’ve always been a fan of choose-your-path style books/games. Pretty certain you can see my email as the admin, respond privately to me if you would like to open up a discussion. Thanks and keep up the good work.

    1. Hello.

      I’d say the rendering is about 80% of the workload when making games these days, certainly with IRAY.

      I have considered outsourcing some roles before, but it’s always a case of ‘by the time I explain what I need to have done, I already could have done it myself’.
